About Me
My journey into clinical social work began after many years in mental health research, where I gained a deep appreciation for the many factors that shape our lives and influence whether we are just surviving or fully thriving. I felt a strong call to serve individuals and communities more directly, which led me to return to school for clinical training. I’m currently a Master’s student in social work at Ohio State University. During my Master’s program, I’m interning with Fourth River Therapy for real-world training and experience in client engagement and therapeutic techniques.
My areas of interest include depression, anxiety, life transitions, caregiver wellbeing, and grief and loss. I’m enthusiastic about person-centered approaches that create a warm, empathic, and empowering space for clients. Right now, I’m learning a range of therapeutic approaches but I’m especially passionate about Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). While they are distinct, both of these approaches recognize that acceptance and change can coexist as we work toward our goals and a life that is aligned with our values.

How I Help
As of May 2026, my internship has completed and I am now awaiting my licensure from the Board of Social Work. At that point, I will be working to become an in-network provider with the various local insurances and begin accepting clients at Fourth River for ongoing therapy. This page will update once my availability is open.
