About Me
As a therapist, I center my work on helping people navigate the complex and often daunting journey of grief. I am passionate about making space for grief, in a way that our society and culture often do not. Grief can mean loss of a number of different things, including the death of a family member, friend, pet, or pregnancy; it can mean loss of a job, income, relationship, friendship, or location; it can encompass any other loss that feels personal to you. To me, holding space and creating a narrative to process these devastating and emotionally complex changes is how we move through them. Grief and loss are human experiences and our reactions to those experiences are deeply unique and personal. It is an honor to be able to walk alongside you on this journey.
In addition to working with those who are experiencing grief, I am also open to those who are looking to process trauma, perinatal concerns, anxiety, and depression. I believe that the therapeutic relationship between the clinician and client is the most important part of the therapy process. I do my best to build a safe space for us to work together, and ensure that we are a good fit before moving forward. With a lot of empathy and a little bit of humor, I believe that we can work together to make positive change based on your individual goals. I try to create a safe environment where all emotions can be felt and validated, and I strongly believe in the ability to feel more than one thing at once.
I am licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and Michigan (accepting virtual clients as I am based in PA.)
